Before glass entered her life, Janet was a dedicated rider, showing on the national level. Rick and Janet have wanted to sculpt horses out of hot glass for many years so when Rick had the opportunity to attend Pilchuck and study with Murano Maestro, Pino Signoretto, he was able to develop the skills necessary to create sculpted horses. Janet designs the coloring and their daughter, Hannah, works with her Dad in the hot blowing and sculpting process. Their horse, Fred, offers his body for study! Each one is unique and must be purchased individually. They are approximately 15"H x16"W x 6"D. Contact us for availablity. |
